Edmund T. Wood worked under John Wedgwood. John Wedgwood (mark of J. Wedgwood) died in 1857. Edmund Thomas (Wedge) Wood continued running the pottery using the famous J. Wedgwood mark. There is no evidence that he marked any ironstone with his name but he did register the Corn and Oats shape under his own name.
